Overseas Chinese Academy of Chiway Wuxi (OCAC Wuxi) was founded by Chiway Education Group to meet the education needs of the children of overseas Chinese returnees, local Chinese nationals, as well as foreign students with the significant support of the Xinwu District Government of Wuxi. OCAC Wuxi is aspiring to become a model of Chinese international education.

 

OCAC provides 15 years of continuous K-12 dual-language education, emphasizing the development of both Chinese and English as students’ mother tongues. Within the IB* framework, on the basis of the Chinese national curriculum, and characterized by American innovative curricula, the OCAC curriculum fosters proactive and balanced lifelong learners. OCAC is committed to developing students’ potential in creativity, innovation and originality, enabling them to deal with the international problems of the 21st century in cooperation with young people from other countries.

 

OCAC Wuxi offers a total area of about 25,000 square metres. The campus provides state-of-the-art, purpose-built facilities such as libraries, multi-media labs, ICT labs, music, visual arts, dance, drama, product and digital design studios, science labs, theater, cafeteria, indoor sports hall, outdoor sports fields and other eco-friendly spaces to create a healthy and comfortable learning environment.
